The world of addiction recovery has undergone enormous changes in the past decade.

The greatest impact has been to bring spirituality into the healing process.

But what, exactly, does spirituality mean? How do we find it, nurture it, and live it?
How does it heal a person from the devastation of this soul-crushing disease?

Rise in Recovery: The Spiritual Path for Healing Addiction brings forth the concept that spiritual practices can heal the brain from the damage of addiction and offer a new way of life in recovery.

Merging ancient wisdom with modern neuroscience, this book breaks through outdated ideas to bring a sea-change in how we can approach recovery.

I am honored that Tommy Rosen, author of Recovery 2.0: Move Beyond Addiction and Upgrade Your Life has written the Foreword to Rise in Recovery.

What is this book about?

Spirituality – independent of religion – is accessible to anyone, including atheists and agnostics.

Unlike most books on the market that discuss “meditation” as a tool for recovery, this book discusses “spirituality” (of which meditation is a part) as a path to recovery.

While neuroscientists have proven that spiritual practices positively affect and heal brain areas, no book has taken the wisdom of ancient spiritual guidance and applied it to treating addiction.

This book gives the reader conceptual, scientific, and practical knowledge that can be used to enhance and deepen the experience of daily life.
